• The app reads file-system metadata only inside folders you explicitly select
• Security-scoped bookmarks may be stored locally to restore access to authorized folders
• The app does not collect analytics or upload file paths, file contents, or scan results
• If you start a Pro trial, its start date is stored in the local Keychain and synchronized through your iCloud account when available; the last trial check time stays on this Mac

The data we collect is used to:

• Calculate disk usage, file and folder sizes, item counts, and modification dates
• Render the folder tree, visual maps, search results, and file type statistics
• Export reports only to a location selected by you
• Use the trial start date to manage trial access and prevent repeated trials

We take the security of your data seriously:

• Storage analysis is performed locally on your Mac
• The App Sandbox limits access to folders you authorize
• Moving an item to Trash always requires an explicit action and confirmation

• Trial start-date synchronization uses Apple's iCloud service; it does not include scanned files or results
